Amazon Art “unlikely to sell many masterpieces,” says @TheEconomist

In this week’s Economist, the viability of selling high end art online receives a healthy dose of scepticism:

The lower end of the art market will largely shift online, predicts Skate’s, an art-market research firm.

The article mentions Artsy, Sedition, ArtNet, Artfinder, and SaatchiOnline as well as Christie’s and Sotheby’s. Check our AMT Directory for more information on these services.
