Billed as “a service for gallery owners, art dealers, auction houses, art fairs, art scholars, artists, collectors and journalists”, a new online database of over 3,000 collector profiles launched Friday.

Larry’s List provides information on private art collections including names of artists and artworks collected, collated by “25 art market research nerds.” Access to the database is available via pay per access at $19 or subscription packages of $350 or $950 per year. The site also promises to rank collectors using a ranking “that is not based on how much the collector spends but on how active they are on the market.”
